I thought I'd blog this just in case someone searches google for a solution for this problem.
The other day I wanted to take a picture. I attempted to open the camera app only to find the graphical shutter wouldnt open up. I decided to google the problem and it seemed I wast alone. Anyway to cut it short it was suggested that you should delete your pics all the way through to hard reset your iphone and even replace your iphone.
Any the solution which worked for me was switch location services off then switch it on again and it works right away.
